It was my first time seeing a Jumbo take-off above me, it's an amazing sight!! And for those of you who havn't seen it, there are hardly 8-10 seconds for you to take the best frame shot you have in mind, and it wasn't easy keeping it in frame with the 12x zoom used all the way for the first shots. Any way, I was able to get these few shots that are well-framed. ]]> Thu Sep 15 2005 Jumbo Close-up Shots - Waqas Usman http://airport.fotopic.net/c539369.html For more pics, see my other gallery at http://pbase.com/waqas --------- Was passing by the airport and saw the Jumbo parked at this spot and went home to get my camera :) There was some technical problem, something with the nose wheel prolly, a man climbed up the wheel into the compartment after the tug master pushed it back... then came back down... Then a couple of cars also came down the taxiway, and then they pulled it back to the parking spot. I took some 222 shots in some 34 minutes and stitched a few panoramas as well. Check out the 16 megapixel+ PANORAMA SHOTS. Will upload more shots when I get time. The 777 started taxxing at around 5:30, the sun wasn't up yet and visibility wasn't great (compare it to the last day's 9am shots). Used my Panasonic FZ-15 (12x optical with image stabilization, 35-420mm, 4mp: 2404*1728), adjusted levels on most shots.
